-Lobe area only

-There is no age limit, however for babies it is recommended before the age of 1 to minimize the possibility of grabbing their ears. Otherwise it is best to wait until the child is old enough to understand.

-Only one staff member performs the procedure. This ensures proper sanitation, accuracy and comfort.

-Procedure is done using a hand pressurized tool. (NOT A PIERCING GUN) This allows for a quick but controlled application while keeping the jewellery contained in its sterile packaging until the piercing is complete.

-If pain is a concern, I suggest using Emla cream. This is a numbing cream that can be purchased over the counter at the pharmacy. I always suggest getting the cream NOT the patches. The patches can be tough to remove and can actually end up being more stressful than the actual piercing. Simply apply the cream to the lobe (front and back) one hour prior to appointment and cover with a band aid.
